My Last Day

OK, time for a quick update.

• We got Emily's car fixed for free under the terms of the warranty. Turns out that the switch that detects when the brake pedal is pressed was broken. They replaced it that day and I collected the car that evening.
• Subaru never backed down on their $400 nonsense, so I sold the car to the nearby CarMax (car superstore place).
• The pajamas are very comfy.
• It's my last day at work.

Allied turned up yesterday and packed all of our stuff (apart from the things we're taking with us. They took about two hours, and noted that the sofa was "f*king heavy". They think that the total weight is a little bit over the estimate, so the final bill will be a bit more than expected. I'm waiting on a call to let me know the final price. Fingers crossed that they are not about to rip us off...
